Louis might be unfamiliar with what used to be located on this 419-acre plot of land. ![]() What you don’t want to do is wind up in the parking lot of the Eureka Pointe strip mall, or be left dangling behind an earthmover and its puzzled driver at a 5th Street dead-end. Hop off at exit 264, then back onto eastbound I-44, exiting at 265. ![]() (The highway also serves as possibly your biggest impediment in arriving there, especially if you’re heading west, as most will be doing. And it’s the steady sound of that road that also serves as a constant reminder that no matter how far off the R66SP pathways you tread, you’re still in civilization, albeit a greener, woodsier version than most.
